History
Founded in 1927, The George-Anne is the oldest continually operating newspaper in Bulloch County and publishes more content than any other student-run newspaper in Georgia. The publication鈥檚 name was chosen during a time when men and women attended separate classes, resulting in the gender-neutral 鈥淕eorge-Anne.鈥 Since then, we鈥檝e been a pillar of student voice and storytelling on campus for nearly a century.
